Spicy Chicken BBQ Biryani

Ingredients:

Basmati rice 500 gms
Yogurt ¼ cup
Salt 1 tsp
Red chilli 1 tsp
Kashmiri red chilli 1 tsp
Crushed red chilli 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Lemon 1 tbsp
Chicken 1 kg
Oil 1/4 cup
Oil ½ cup
Onion 1
Tomato 1
Yogurt ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Salt 1 tsp
Red chilli 1 tsp
All spices 1 tsp
Coriander 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Cumin powder 1 tsp
Water 2 ltr
Salt 3 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
Bay leaves 2
Cinnamon stick 3
Black pepper 15
Cloves 10
Black cardamom 5
Fresh mint leaves
Fresh coriander leaves
Green chillies 4-5
Sliced Lemon

Method:

– Take a bowl and add Yogurt, salt, red chilli, Kashmiri red chilli, red chilli flakes, ginger garlic paste and lemon zest. Mix well to make masala paste.
– Add chicken and mix well with masala paste.
– Heat oil in cooking pot. Add chicken, cover the lid of the pan and simmer for fifteen minutes in medium-low flame.
– Give coal smoke for ten minutes and keep chicken aside.
– Take another cooking pot and heat oil in it.
– Add onion and fry until light brown. Add tomatoes and cook for a while.
– Take a bowl. Add yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, salt, red-chilli, garam masala, coriander powder, turmeric powder and cumin powder. Mix well and add in a cooking pot.
– Put chicken in a cooking pot.
– Heat 2 ltr water in a cooking pot.
– Add salt, cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, black cardamom, cloves and black pepper.
– Add basmati rice and boil until 80% done.
– Put the rice over chicken.
– Add fresh mint, coriander leaves, green chillies, sliced lemon, fried onion and gold color.
– Cover the lid of pot and simmer for 10-15 mintues on low flame.
– Serve
