Special Chicken Salan

Are you up for some Seasoned chicken curry? Try this traditional ‘Chicken Salan’ recipe by our Chef.

Ingredients

  • Chicken                                    1 kg
  • Oil                                             150 ml
  • Fried Onion Paste                  3 Tbsp
  • Yogurt                                      250 gm
  • Ginger – Garlic Paste             1 Tbsp
  • Salt                                            1 Tsp
  • Red Chilli                                 1 Tbsp
  • Coriander Powder                  1 Tbsp
  • Garam Masala                         1 Tsp
  • Coconut Powder                     2 Tbsp

Method

  1. Blend fried onion to make its paste
  2. Mix ginger-garlic paste, salt, red chilli, garam masala, coconut powder, fried onion paste with Yoghurt and beat
  3. Heat oil in pan.
  4. Put yogurt paste in oil and cook
  5. Put chicken in pan and cook
  6. Simmer for 10 minutes on medium flame
  7. Serve with hot naan
