Ingredients:
Water 9-10 cups
Gold color ¼ tsp
Green cardamom 4
Cloves 4
Salt ¼ tsp
Rice (Sela) 500 gms
Crafted butter ½ cup
Green cardamom 3-4
Sugar 500 gms
Water 3 glass
Kewra essence ½ tsp
Pistachio 1 tbsp
Almonds 1 tbsp
Raisins 1 tbsp
Sliced coconut 1 tbsp
Candied fruits ½ cup
Method:
- Boil water in a pot.
- Add gold color, green cardamom, cloves, salt and soaked for 3 hours sella rice. Strain when rice are 75% done.
- Add crafted butter, sugar, kewra essence, pistachio, almonds, raisins and sliced coconut in pan. Mix it well.
- Add rice and mix.
- Add the candied fruits and cook till the water gets dry on medium high flame.
- Simmer for 10 minutes on low flame and ready to serve.
- Garnish with khoya, dry fruits and gulabjamun and serve.
