Chicken Shashlik Steak

Ingredients (For Grilled Chicken)

Chicken Fillet 04 pieces

Salt ½ Tsp

Black pepper ½ Tsp

Mixed Herbs ¼ Tsp

Ginger Garlic paste 1 Tsp

Soya Sauce ½ Tbsp

BBQ / Chilli Garlic Sauce 2 Tbsp

Oil 2 Tbsp

Capsicum 1 Small

Tomato 1 Small

Black Pepper ¼ Tsp

Sugar ¼ Tsp


(For Shashlik Sauce)

Oil 2-3 Tbsp

Ginger- Garlic Paste ½ Tsp

Tomatoes (Blended) 2

Salt ¼ Tsp

Black pepper ¼ Tsp

Soya Sauce 2 Tbsp

Vinegar 1 Tsp

Chilli Sauce 1 Tbsp

Chilli Garlic Sauce 3 Tbsp

Ketchup 3 Tbsp

Sugar 1 Tbsp


– Take chicken fillets and poke holes with meat tenderizer.

– Put fillets in bowl and add salt, black pepper, mixed herbs, ginger garlic paste, soya sauce and BBQ sauce.

– Mix and Marinate for 2-3 Hours

– Grease grill pan with oil. Add capsicum (pieces), tomato, black pepper and sugar. Stir fry on high flame for 2 minutes and keep aside.

– Grease grill pan with oil. Place marinated chicken fillets and cook/grill each side on low flame 7-8 minutes. Set aside

Preparation of Shashlik Sauce:

– Add oil in sauce pan

– Add ginger-garlic paste and blended tomatoes. Cook for five minutes on medium low flame.

– Add salt, black pepper, soya sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, Chilli Garlic Sauce, Ketchup and sugar. Mix well and cook for five minutes on medium-low flame.

– Pour Sauce on grilled chicken fillet and serve fried tomatoes and capsicum.
